Group Shiatsu Therapy Sessions
We are available to teach groups of up to 15 people. This is a form of self-shiatsu known as "do-in".
Do-in is a mixture of chi-gung, tai chi-like exercises, yoga and meditation. During a do-in session, which typically lasts one hour, you will be taken through a series of gentle warm up exercises that wake up the bodies meridians and a number of exercises, depending on the requirements of the group This practice rebalances the body\'s Ki (or chi or qi) and includes a set of stretches known as the "makka-ho" stretches. The makka-ho facilitate the flow of ki and also serve to diagnose imbalance. |
